Giving Tuesday
Giving Tuesday is celebrated on the Tuesday following Thanksgiving. It kicks off the charitable season, when many focus on their holiday and end-of-year giving. Since its inaugural year in 2012, giving Tuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy with events throughout the year. GivingTuesday provides a platform for people to donate their time, resources and talents to address local challenges. Scholarship Recipient Update
I had the pleasure of catching up with one of our first scholarship recipients, Kaia Woods, while attending my 10 year class reunion at XULA. Kaia will be finishing her first semester soon and has loved every minute of it. Kaia continues to pursue her dreams of becoming a doctor, is doing well academically, and is an active pre-med member. Good luck with finals, Kaia!! Continue to make us proud =)
